Pedestrian killed, 2 seriously injured after driver speeds through Akron neighborhood

A 35-year-old man was killed early Saturday morning after being hit by a speeding car while crossing the street in Akron's Highland Square neighborhood. The driver of the speeding car, as well as the driver of another car she hit, are being hospitalized with serious but non-life threatening injuries.

A 35-year-old pedestrian was killed early Saturday morning and a driver was seriously injured after each were hit by a speeding car in Akron’s Highland Square neighborhood, police said.
