Synopsis: This article suggests that Hawaiian language speakers today rely too heavily on verbal constructions while eschewing their nominal counterparts. This seems to mirror English tendencies. As we endeavor to revitalize Hawaiian, we should purposefully choose to utilize nominal constructions in order to break away from English ways of speaking.
